Questions

Whether you are building one house or running several sites, here is what people usually want to know.

Getting started

I am building one house for myself. Is this for me?
Yes — that is what it was built for first. Most people using it are building their own home, not running a construction business. You do not need to know accounting, and nothing assumes you have a site office or staff. If you are a contractor running several builds, it works for that too.
What do I actually have to enter?
Three things. What you bought, what you paid a contractor, and what you spent on site. Everything else — what you owe, what each floor cost, who is holding your cash — is worked out from those.
I have already started building. Can I still use it?
Yes, and most people do. Enter what you have spent so far, roughly grouped by stage, and the picture builds from there. It does not need to be perfect to be useful.
How long does it take to set up?
A few minutes. Create an account, name your project, and start recording. There is nothing to install and no configuration.

Using it

Do I need to be online at the site?
To save something, yes. The mobile apps keep an entry on your phone if you are out of signal and send it when you are back in range.
Can my site manager use it without seeing everything?
Yes. Add them as a manager and they can record purchases and payments but not delete anything, and only for the projects you choose. You can also stop them spending more than the cash you have actually handed over.
What is cash in hand?
Money you have given someone that has not yet reached a supplier. You record what you hand over, and whatever they spend is deducted automatically, so you always know what is still with them.
Can I track more than one house?
Yes. Each build is a separate project with its own figures. The free package includes one; paid packages include more.
What if I make a mistake?
Edit or delete the entry. Admins can change anything; managers can change what they recorded themselves. Deleting a supplier or contractor is refused while records still depend on them, so you cannot lose history by accident.

Money and plans

Is the free package really free?
Yes, with no time limit. One project, up to three people, and every feature. We do not ask for a card. Advertising in the mobile apps pays for it.
How do I pay if I upgrade?
JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer. You send the money, upload a screenshot, and we verify it by hand — usually within one working day. There is no card payment yet.
What happens to my screenshot?
It is stored where nothing on the web can reach it, shown only to the person verifying it, and deleted the moment they approve or reject. We do not keep it.
What if I stop paying?
Your account goes back to the free package. Nothing is deleted. If you are over the free limits your records stay readable until you remove projects or people, or subscribe again.
Can I get a refund?
Within 14 days of your first payment, in full, without needing a reason. The details are in our refund policy.

Your data

Who can see my figures?
Only people you add to your account. Each customer's records are separated at the database level, and you choose which projects each person can open.
Can I get my data out?
At any time. Account settings has a download button that gives you every record as spreadsheet files you can open in Excel or Google Sheets.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. The account owner can close the account from settings, which permanently deletes every project, record and team member. Download your data first — we cannot get it back afterwards.
Do you sell my data?
No, and we never will. Advertisers in the free mobile apps never see anything you enter. Our privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected and why.

Practical things

Does it work in rupees?
Yes, that is the default. Tell us if you need another currency and we will look at it.
Can I print a report for the bank?
Yes. Reports and ledgers are formatted to print cleanly, and any statement can be saved as a PDF from your browser.
Is there a mobile app?
The web version works on a phone browser today. Apps for iPhone and Android are next, using the same account and the same data.
Something is broken. What do I do?
Tell us at contact. We read everything and reply within two working days.
